Butterfly Summer wins Oxfordshire Book Award

2nd May 2013

Butterfly Summer

We're delighted to announce that Butterfly Summer, by Anne-Marie Conway has won the Oxfordshire Book Award, voted for by students across Oxfordshire, in the 'Secondary School Category'.

The Oxfordshire Book Award is voted for entirely by children, who read and nominate their favourite books.

Mesmerising and mysterious, Butterfly Summer is a haunting tale of intense friendship and dangerous discovery.

When Becky finds an old photo in a box under her mum’s bed, everything she thought she knew comes crashing down. The only place she finds comfort is at the Butterfly Garden with her new friend, Rosa May.

But with her wild ways, and unpredictable temper, is Rosa May hiding something as well? In the heat of the sun-drenched summer, it seems that Becky is the only one in the dark…

The ceremony for the Oxfordshire Book Award will take place in October, when Anne-Marie Conway will be presented with her award.
