First Reading Series

Specially written for children who are just starting to learn to read, the First Reading series is divided into four levels that increase in difficulty.

July's new titles are both new additions to Level 3 of the series: The Lion and the Mouse, a lively retelling of the classic Aesop's fable, and The Little Red Hen, a charming adaptation of the much-loved old folk tale.

Young Reading Series
