Young Reading Series

Ideal for readers growing in confidence, the Young Reading series is divided into four levels that increase in difficulty.

Phonics

With simple rhyming text and phonic repetition, Usborne's Phonics Readers are specially designed to develop essential language skills and early reading.

Spider in a Glider is the newest phonics title. In typical phonics style, it combines humorous illustrations with fun rhyming text, ideal for engaging young readers. This is the story of Spider, who wishes she could fly. But when she takes to the skies with Beetle in a home-made glider, she gets more than she bargained for.

English Readers

Usborne English Readers are a new series of English language readers for young learners. They can be read either in class or independently in students' own time. Titles include fairy tales, myths and legends and English language classics for all ages. Young Fiction
