Gala Awards and Spring Conference, January 2008

Usborne Organisers gathered at the Holiday Inn, Stratford-upon-Avon for the most exhilarating Usborne event to date. Full of glitz, glamour and masses of excitement, the event celebrated the success stories of 2007 and looked forward to a thrilling year ahead.

During the course of an exquisite gourmet dinner, the winners of the 2007 Usborne Awards took to the stage to receive their prizes. The room buzzed with pride and team spirit as new and existing Organisers cheered, ‘whooped’ and congratulated fellow Organisers on their success.

The electric atmosphere continued the next day at the 2008 Spring Conference, where Organisers were dazzled with a wealth of brand new business tools, initiatives and exciting new Usborne books.

This magnificent two-day event left Organisers raring to go and fuelled with new and exciting ideas to make this Usborne year their most successful to date. And there’s no doubt that they will all achieve it!

Monte Carlo and the Côte D'Azur, 25th - 28th April 2008

This April, the winners of the 2008 Usborne Travel Incentive jetted off to experience the ultimate dream lifestyle in Europe's playground of the rich and famous.

These high-flying Organisers sampled the luxury of the French Riviera from the sun drenched beaches of Nice to the roulette wheels of Monte Carlo.

They stayed in the jewel of the Côte D'Azur, Nice, for three unforgettable nights. Here they saw the wonders of the historic old town and enjoyed brushing shoulders with the glitterati on the beachside!

And that's not all, the winners were treated to thrilling day trips to popular locations along the Riviera, as well as an exhilarating evening in Monte Carlo where they languished in the fun and fortune of the famous casino.

Executive Club Conference, October 2007

Executive Club Members from all over the UK and the EU descended upon the luxurious, four-star Hellidon Lakes hotel for a fascinating and inspiring day of presentations, workshops and activities.

Delegates discussed key points in fast-paced workshops and enjoyed a delicious lunch in a private dining room overlooking the stunning hotel grounds and golf course.

After thought-provoking business presentations, delegates then had the opportunity to sample the excellent leisure activities on offer at Hellidon Lakes, including golf simulators, ten-pin bowling, swimming, sauna or jacuzzi - the perfect end to a hugely successful day.
